This application is available to all users of the Geographic Number Portability service.
Geographic Number Portability is the most convenient and intuitive way to manage number porting and exporting. It utilises the BT wholesale portal with end-to-end order fulfilment and is integrated into our partner"s systems.
In order to port an End User"s number, both operators need to carry out preparatory work in their networks - Service Establishment/Service Maintenance (SE/SM) - to allow calls to be routed to the gaining operator"s network. This application allows the tracking and monitoring of SE/SM work, helping to ensure that we can meet agreed industry timescales for this work.
